What to do with SI Error: "check path /usr/g/mrraw/HEADER_POOL
Symptoms:
After pressing 'Scan Setup' on the instascan, a dialog appears with the contents:
SI: Please check path
/usr/g/mrraw/HEADER_POOL |
What Happens:
After certain procedures on the Signa (in particular, mrload) the access from the
instascan to the Signa may become limited. This comes about when the contents of
/etc/exports on the Signa revert to their factory configuration.
What to do:
Log on to the Signa and alter the contents of /etc/exports to include permission for
instascan to mount /usr and /usr/g.
In particular, the altered file should read:
/ UC3T_OC0-tps UC3T_OC0
/usr UC3T_OC0-tps UC3T_OC0 instascan
/usr/g UC3T_OC0-tps UC3T_OC0 instascan
After which, you must reboot the Signa (yes: reboot, not just restart the Signa
programs...)
